Sephora's Spring Sale

Sephora is like a candy shop for me. I can’t go in there unless I need something or I’ll end up paying more than I want to for something I didn’t even know I “needed.” Also, I don’t know about you, but I tend to run out of everything at once…which is also not good for the wallet lol. Sephora’s Beauty insider sale only happens twice a year and the stuff that I buy hardly ever (maybe even never) goes on sale so now is the time I usually stock up or try something new!

To become a Sephora Beauty Insider all you need to do is sign up with an email address and phone number. Becoming a Beauty Insider gets you exclusive rewards including sales, gifts, and more and for this sale it gets you 10% off. VIB status (spending over $350 in a year) gets you 15%. Rouge status (spending over $1000 in one calendar year) gets you 20% off.

I’m going to start with skin care because it’s my fave and then makeup and then some things that I’ve been wanting to try. ALL PHOTOS ARE LINKED SO CLICK AWAY :)

Skin Care:

It Cosmetics Confidence In A Cleanser and Confidence in a Cream Moisturizer

I started using this over the summer after a bad reaction to a different cleanser dried the crap out of my skin. Both of these nursed my skin back to hydrated health.

Dr. Dennis Gross Pore Perfecting Serum

This stuff is literal magic. After a week of using it my pores were visibly smaller and my skin was clearer and the tone was a lot more even.

Caudalie Essence

An essence is a solution that up until a short while ago only Korean women knew the importance and benefit of. It helps your products (serums and moisturizers) sink into the appropriate layers of skin and brightens as well. I’m such a fan of this brand. It’s an all natural French-based company that uses grape (one of the most powerful antioxidants) in all of its products. Their essence is now an essential part of my morning and night skincare routine. You pour a little into your palm and pat it onto damp skin right after cleansing. Also, a little goes a long way!

Josie Maran Argan Daily Moisturizer SPF

My daily sunscreen. Doesn’t make me break out and goes on super smooth. I apply it after my moisturizer and before applying any makeup.

GlamGlow Charcoal Instant Treatment mask

Love this mask SO much. Clears acne like no other. Sometimes I even use it as a spot treatment and sleep in it.

Isle of Paradise Self Tanning Drops

I get the medium shade in this and it’s the best self tanner I’ve ever used. I mix 4 drops in with my moisturizer at night, make sure to apply it evenly all over (around my eyes, under my nose, and neck) and it develops overnight so I wake up with the most natural, prettiest, glowiest tan.  I’ve even mixed them in with body lotion and applied them to my body too and it turned out amazing. Bonus: it smells amazing too. Just don’t forget to wash your hands after you apply it or you’ll wake up with splotches on your hands.

Youth to the People Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask

I got a mini version of this with my points one month. It was during the particularly dry part of winter in Utah and I fell in love with how hydrated and glowy it made my skin. Also it smells like a dream.

Murad Rapid Relief Acne Spot Treatment

This acne spot treatment is STRONG but it works better than anything else I’ve ever used. Zaps zits like no other. I have pretty sensitive skin so I can only leave it on for a few minutes. If I leave it on overnight it gives me an eczema-like rash that only hydrocortisone cream can get rid of.

Murad Post-Acne Spot Lightening Gel

I tend to pick my face a lot so, that bad habit plus old acne scarring leaves lots of marks on my face that take forever to go away on their own. Enter, this baby. This stuff is non negotiable if you have any kind of discoloration due to acne scarring. The hydroquinone in it essentially bleaches the spot and visibly lightens the area after one use. Your spots are pretty much gone in a week. Tip: only use directly on the spot. If you use it all over, you will end up bleaching areas that didn’t need to be bleached. Also, only use at night as the last step in your skincare routine. This gel causes your skin to be sensitive so using it during the day could cause the sun to react and bleach you more. Another perk: A little goes a verrrry long way.  I’ve had mine for almost 3 years and it’s barely halfway gone. I will never stop talking about this product.

Makeup:

It Cosmetics CC Cream

Tried this a year ago and fell in love. It is my holy grail of the bb, cc, and tinted moisturizer creams. It’s definitely more of a full coverage look so it literally makes you look airbrushed. I use it as my everyday foundation now and apply it with a brush. Plus it has SPF that reflects UV rays instead of seeping into your skin which is much more effective for protection.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

I only break this out for special occasions or when I’m having a particularly bad skin episode because it is THICK and makes my skin look flawless. The fullest coverage you can get and you have to WORK to get it off. I can and have gone swimming before and then come out looking the exact same because it stays that well. You don’t even need a setting spray with this one.

Milk Makeup Kush Fiber Brow Gel

I’ve tried Glossier’s boy brow and Benefit’s gimme brow and they don’t even come close to this stuff. Boy brow wasn’t pigmented enough for my needs and the gimme brow one didn’t have the right shade for me. The brush grabs and lifts every single eyebrow little hair and adds so much pigment, which I love.

Nars Matte Bronzer in shade Laguna

The yummiest, glowiest bronzer I’ve ever used. This color is just too good. It’s super pigmented so a little goes a long way. They have a shimmery option too but I’m just more of a matte kinda gal. I’m convinced that this bronzer color will look good on anyone.

Bobbi Brown Blush in shade Nectar

I used to be a Nars blush in Orgasm only kind of girl but it has sparkles in it and like I said, I’m way more of a matte makeup person so when I found the exact same color in matte form by Bobbi Brown, I snatched it. It’s such a universally good color that will compliment any skin tone.

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick in Nude Pink and Lip Cheat Lip Liner

My go to color. It looks good on literally everyone and that actually is a fact. It has remained the top selling lip stick in Europe for the last year and a half.

Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer

Your makeup won’t be going anywhere. Sometimes it’s too sticky for me so I’ll mix in a couple drops of face oil to make it go on a little easier and so I can use less.

Stila Liquid Liner

Favorite liquid liner I’ve ever used. It’s super pigmented and creates the most crisp lines. Also lasts forever.

Urban Decay All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray

Lives up to the hype. Spritz a couple sprays on your finished face and your makeup will last all day.

Things I Want to Try

Anastasia Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette

I love these warm, neutral colors and I’ve heard amazing things about this palette. Just need a reason to put eyeshadow on first….

Beauty Chef Glow Powder and Moon Juice Vegan Collagen

A girl I follow is obsessed with these two products and she’s a health and wellness guru with the best skin I’ve ever seen soooo these are high on the list.

Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask

Several people have mentioned that this is incredible. Need to try

Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Extra Strength Daily Peel

Frequent exfoliation is so important to keep your skin clear and these were recommended to me as the best chemical exfoliant to try. Gentle enough to use daily or every other day but strong enough keep your pores clear and to help new skin resurface. So I tried a sample and LOVED them. They made my skin so smooth. They’re just super expensive and idk if I’m ready hahaha.

Lastly, here are the details for dates for the sale! Happy beauty shopping!
